Very caring and compassionate consultant! Even though he was very busy tending to other patients, he always made sure that I was OK and always came and spoke to me directly. I am so thankful to Clive Aldrich for making me feel at ease during a very difficult time! Thank you again. You are superb!

Dr Aldrich provided first class care to me when I was pregnant with a complication and I feel I am extremely privileged to have benefitted from his expertise and experience. He went out of his way to ensure the best outcome for me and my baby and throughout the treatment I felt I was being looked after by the very best. I’ll be forever grateful to Dr Aldrich and I’m certain that had I not been referred to him my outcome would have been quite different.

I had a very positive experience under the care of Mr Aldrich and the staff on Spencer Ward who were very caring and totally dedicated to the care of patients. The theatre staff were very reassuring and put me at ease. Helen, secretary to Mr Aldrich, was also very helpful and professional. Mr Aldrich explained the operation to me prior to my admittance (anterior and posterior repair) and visited me on the ward the next day following the operation to check on me and to explain what he had done in theatre. I had a follow up appointment with him yesterday and he was pleased with how I was healing and was also ready answer any questions that I had. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Aldrich.

Fabulous from the beginning Mr Aldrich explained everything so clearly from the start and was very reassuring &answered all my questions so thoroughly from which I was able to make an informed decision ( Mr Aldrich explained that I would be suitable for keyhole surgery if I wanted it as I knew not everyone is suitable ) which is what I had I was extremely pleased with the outcome . I recommend my mother to Mr Aldrich who was equally as pleased with his care she had surgery for urinary incontience My daughter had our grandchild delievered by Mr Aldrich again we could not fault his excellent care& reassuring manor& excellent advice at all times I have recommended several of my friends to see Mr Aldrich and they have been as pleased as I have been

After meeting Mr Aldrich I deceided to go for a second opinion.On receiving this request he got his secretary to phone me and say I need to come back in as my bloods are high. No explanation of what this meant causing me great fear and anxiety. He also personally went to my GP to say I needed an operation. Again creating a very frightening scenario. Fearing the worst I went back for a second meeting with Mr Aldrich who could not reassure me when I said I was frightened of having an operation. I asked if I could have keyhole surgery and he replied No. This was a blatant lie. After having an MRI scan which he didn't discuss the results with me I found Mr Von Widekind who had an excellent reassuring manner and I had keyhole surgery. Ensuring I had a quick and successful recovery from my operation. I felt bullied and Ifelt Mr Aldrich was ruling me through fear and intimidation. I would not recommend Mr Aldrich to anyone.
